Absolutely amazing. The horses are SUPER friendly, and you may feel a bit scared at the beginning of the ride, as I did, but as you start getting the hang of it, you'll be enjoying yourself in no time. The staff were so friendly and kind. This horse trek is highly recommended and I'm sure you'll have the time of your lives. Horomatangi, the horse that I rode, was an absolute angel. He wandered off trying to eat grass which made me a bit scared but was hilarious at the same time. After that, he kindly led the herd of horses and was super calm. My mom rode Optaka and my mom said that he was SO nice and listened to everything my mom told him to do. I definitely recommened this place to beginners and experienced people.

We went out with these guys for my daughter's birthday and it was absolutely amazing! They were helpful with booking and the reason I went with them was how much they felt it would be a magical experience and their passion to share that with others, was exactly what I wanted. Their guides were all so helpful and so calming and reassuring for those that were nervous. They even took photos with my phone so we could keep the memories of our experience. Such a great set up, all ran so smoothly and great communication along the way. Wonderful with the kids!! We all absolutely loved it and didn't want it to Finnish. Horse's were lovely and super gentle. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Would totally recommend these guys to anyone especially if your taking children. Thanks Karen

Second time riding with Muriwai Horse Trek. This time we went as a family (2 kids and 2 adults). Great communication and instructions provided before and during the trek. My son (7yrs) was doing a one hour horse trek for the first time. The staff made him feel comfortable and the horses are angels! Beautiful scenery of the beach and then the forest. Absolutely loved it! Wishing Brenda (the lead horse) a speedy recovery. Plan to be back for another trek very soon!

The best experience! We did the one hour trek today with our young kids and it was a perfect outing for all ages. Stunning scenery and lovely gentle horses. But the best thing about it is the fantastic staff - they were all so friendly, helpful, experienced and enthusiastic. They didnt take a moments rest - they were constantly checking everyone was happy and having fun, running around taking pics and videos with all our phones, and ensuring everyone was safe with constant instruction and guidance. Highly recommend - worth every penny!

Highly recommend taking a trek with these guys! The horses are awesome, the team are helpful, friendly and extremely professional, and the scenery is epic! They cater for all ages, sizes and skill level so our entire group felt safe and enjoyed every minute of our ride. Thank you
