My dogs love it there, come back looking AMAZING Very clean and staff are very helpful and polite. So it's a 5 from Marti, Diva, Quatro and Macy. Also from myself. Highly recommend

The real score for this service should be minus 10. I took them to Pets by Design as I had 3 years ago to Jill who was caring and did excellent grooming. I was unaware it was under new management. When I realised that the business was under new management I asked a few questions and explained how I liked my girls groomed. When I collected them they looked strange as their face area had been cut right down to the skin. 2 days later I found a 1/2 inch cut under her long ear on a bony part of her face. I cleaned it with antiseptic as a precaution. I then a week later saw blood all in her ear hair and down by her mouth. The cut had turned into a 10 cent bloody mess. I rang Pets By Design and left several messages, eventually I got to speak to Jane I explained the situation and sent her a photo. Taking her to the vet I was told that the cut had got infected and turned into a hot spot and if not treated quickly could spread further on her face and to other parts of her body. I left with anti fungal cream and antibiotics. I advised Pets by Design Over several days of various conversations the outcome is they refuse to take responsibility, but did offer a free groom. I dont think so. After checking other reviews this isnt the first review reporting peoples precious pets suffering from a bad groom. The picture is how the cut developed after the initial cut. AN UPDATE: AFTER ALL THIS TME 7 AFTER MY GIRL RECEiVED A CUT HIDDEN BY HER EAR SHE IS ON THE MEND. IR HAS BEEN A TOUGH TIME WITH THE I NFECTED AREA. Pets By Design refused to take responsibility for their negligence in not only hurting my dog but the time, money and anguish it caused her and myself. SHAME ON YOU.
