        stopped here for lunch. there's a great selection of food, pies, fried chicken and deep fried fish, bread rolls and pizza bread, etc etc etc. what I was really happy with was the prices! got a roast beef sandwich for $3.50 and a delicious pizza bread that was about half a metre long for $2.50. I must be used to the high prices of mount maunganui. but was good to see them keeping their prices down and not gouging like most other bakeries do. the service was friendly, premises was tidy and there were tables and chairs both inside and outside. I will be stopping here again next time I'm in katikati!
