I am so so pleased with the service of this store. I needed a bracelet fixed and rang around Tauranga. All the answers I got were "no, can't be fixed" or "buy another instead" or some ridiculous price. HOWEVER when I called harry Maddox they said they could definetly fix it and for only $20! True to their word they fixed it perfectly and even cleaned the bracelet till it sparkled with no charge. I was happy and will only be returning to here for anything jewelry related from now on.

Went in yesterday to get my finger sized and was rudely greeted with "take a step back from the counter, so i can spray where you've been and I will not be serving you without a mask" She continued to scream and use really offensive language and offanities at me and throwing things around the room and slamming doors. I was quite shocked and thrown back by this behaviour and asked her co worker to size me up while she was acting this way. I asked why I had to wear one when her co worker wasnt wearing one. She then continued to scream abuse at me. This was out the gate. Never have I ever been treated like this, neither would I treat someone else like this with such disgusting demeanor. She said they are open to discriminate against "our kind". Which is people with mask exemptions. For someone who has an illness therefore cannot wear a mask this was quite upsetting and brings in a deeper awareness of how people think this is okay when it's really not.

Walked in store with my partner today to buy a $650 ring I had been admiring through the window for months. But on entry was greeted rudly with "excuse me have you got masks" I am exempt, partner put his mask on. It totally put me off buying the ring or buying anything else from the store though. Over the years we have spent a decent amount of money in there because they have really beautiful items. But honestly I probly won't step foot in there any more. Best of luck for the future.
