        This lovely town has all sporting amenities,free library and heated swimming pool use, has play grounds for children ,many beautiful parks and one can walk up Mt. Edgecumbe or even join the annual King,Queen, prince,princess Of the Mountain race,there's the Tarawera river canoe competitions,adventure, hunting competions.
