Cascade Charters

Ventured on a 3 day trip to white island, only just to spend our first day at the island and the other 2 nights at moutohora island, 2 kingfish and 0 deep sea fish caught throughout the whole trip, unfortunately most of us didn't get to experience deep sea fishing, django made some poor decisions, we were expecting somebody with abit more experience, having done three kings with other Charter company's, I personally would not use cascade charters again. Friends booked with Cascade for Three Kings back in March this year. They canceled their trip for their own reasons and NEVER heard back from Cascade Charters!! They sent multiple emails with not one reply. They have since been telling all friends and family not to book with this company due to such poor communications. Would never recommend.

Worst charter service ever !!!!!!!!! would never recommend to any one wanting a (high end charter i.e $600 per day per person) gear was included but was it was rubbish and $20 upwards per rig extremely tight on everything Deck hand was unbelievably lazy! worst I've ever seen ever! we were made to feel like dishes was our responsibility didn't help with any of the fishing just sat on her fone 90% of the time, spoke about her personal life running down her ex who owns another charter business was flirting with all the boys even in front of my partner making it very awkward we went out in unfishable weather just for them to pocket our money & making it seem like they doing us an favor we stayed on Anker 90% of the time deck hand and skipper are extremely unmotivated and unprofessional, planning next trips and maintaining on Facebook for the duration of the trip. the lack of experience with the skipper was definitely noticable didn't feel safe at times and especially when deck hand took to the helm making an panicking atmosphere while close to the bar. skippers local knowledge & fishing experience seemed to be very minimal spoke to boss about possible refund or even just something back but was refused wasn't until court proceedings began did we come to an agreement extremely money hungry and tight!!!! Do yourself a favor don't go out with these guys Theirs alot of good charters out there, that do great job for service this is not one !!!!! Possibly another skipper and another deckhand would make this charters representation better but in my first and last experience with these guys they are extremely shocking
