Pipiriki campsite was lovely. Jet boat ride was fantastic

Joe is highly rude to anyone canoeing the river. We witnessed him refuse to slow down, even when those canoes had children in them, even going out of his way to get close to them & visibly enjoying scaring them. We witnessed every other jet boat slow down and couldnt understand his attitude. Only way to describe it is hes just a horrible human being

Move the 'BridgeTo Nowhere' up your to-do list! We (a group of 6) just returned from an awesome weekend exploring the 'Valley of broken dreams' - It was an awesome mountain bike ride (not too tricky) complete with a jet boat ride and canoeing experience. Our crew had an absolute blast. Huts were comfortable, cooking facilities well equipped and a hot shower an absolute surprise at the end of a big day biking. It was also nice to pop up to the lodge for a GnT and to hang with Blacky the cat. Mandy and Joe were very hospitable and were great to have a laugh with. Go and check it out for yourself!

Above and beyond my expectations! Everything was fabulous; the jet boat, canoeing, hiking and lodge accommodations. The meal at the lodge was really spectacular. We will be returning.
