I saw Dr John Petrie due to chronic pain in my legs, he told me its most likely growing pains & referred me to a nerve conduction test which came back with nothing. Roughly a year later I had an MRI which showed my back was broken (L5) crushing my nerves causing the leg pain, resulting in surgery with a fusion and disc replacement. I was later then diagnosed with EDS Syndrome which I dont understand how a rheumatologist can miss.

After a year I still have got nowhere,the service is the worse I've ever had in any health system in new zealand.then there's the breaches of my rights under the health and disability code.the last words from there office staff was.we won't do anything about it,I'm glad I recorded the conversation.

Arpad did uni knee replacement on left knee 8 years ago and uni knee replacement on right knee 6 months ago. I was so happy the first time I went back for seconds - I think that says it all. It is great just to be able to walk and even run properly. The reception staff were great and the Otonga hospital staff also great.

Great place, super efficient reception staff, nothing is a problem with Rotorua Orthopedics, and the my surgeon is Arpard he has undertaken 4 surgeries on me and all very successful, thank you all so much for your kindness and understanding of my medical needs.
