Highmark Homes provided a comprehensive level of service throughout the full build process. Progress was easy to follow with the Builderstrend APP which included important information such as timelines, costs, and photos. Staff had their specific functions which created a great build experience and those outside the company (I.e. electricians) were welcoming and helpful when various decisions needed to be made or consulted on. The build was completed in a timely fashion. My family are very pleased with the end result Service: Home building

Very poor service and unprofessional manner. Highmark did a new build for our first home in which we could personalize colors for exterior and interior, kitchen, bathroom design etc. Initial consultation was good, we were on the same page. We watched the build every step of the way, when the trusts went up, when the roof was on etc. We were shocked when the color of our weatherboard was wrong. The colour of our bricks were wrong. The colour of our mortar were wrong, our down pipes colour were wrong. We found out about these matters days after they were already done on the online app they provide. When we called to discuss our concerns we were met with a "you get what you pay for" attitude and a "we got it as close as we could" attitude. We were very shocked! Our selections made at the consultation were far from what we received and highmark did not take responsibility nor did they offer an apology or some sort of compensation/discount for such a big stuff up. Further to this Highmark homes(we believe to be spightful) have built a retaining wall 1m from the neighboring boundary so close to the backside of our house we have about 100mm in some spaces and can not use or walk down the back side of the house. When we asked why they did that and why they couldn't retain closer to the boundary to allow us a usable space there reply was "we went over budget" and charged us an extra $3000. Poor service and would not recommend to anyone.

Ryan's team were brilliant to deal with. Our new home far exceeds our expectations. Our construction manager, Shaun Kingi was a pragmatic problem solver and assisted us with making decisions when weren't understanding of the outcomes. Shaun and the team have been timely in assisting with the very few remedials we have had. I have heard friends frustrations in the build process, we found absolutely none, even whilst navigating a global pandemic. Our build stands out by a country mile amongst the cookie cutter type home builders. I would never use any other home builder. We are proud to share that our home is a Highmark Homes build. Excellent service I built my house with these beautiful people. I totally recommend them if you are building a house.
