Great experience. Contacted Sandy early in the morning and she responded right away. It was our last day in the area so we we're glad she responded so quickly. Showed us all the fundamental of surfing even though we surfed before it was like a new beginning. The water was perfect more then I can say for our surfing but we will keep trying because we love surfing and the ocean. It was a busy 2 weeks but we're glad we had a chance. Surfing in Hawaii and Santa Monica California was a total different experience. Thanks again Sandy for making it perfect for us. Mount Maunganui is a wonderful place to visit. Only we had more time. I had a rough morning with heavy rains and thunders at 10am (which was the time my lesson was meant to be at). Sandy was very accommodating and we moved the lesson to 3pm. It was perfect because the weather cleared up and was sunny!! Sandy was patient, clear with instructions and so much fun. Made the experience of my first time ever surfing perfect. Thank you Sandy. :)

Having only tried surfing once before, Sandy did a great job helping me gain a much better understanding of the basics of surfing. She was both patient, encouraging and precise in her feedback and instructions, which made it feel easy to learn from her. I had a two hour private lesson and I would highly recommend that for beginners like myself seeking to learn enough to feel comfortable going surfing on their own. Great value and great fun!

I had such a great time learning to surf with Sandy! So happy it actually worked and I could stand up and surf a wave (a small one of course but hey) during my first lesson. The beach is amazing and Sandy is a great teacher and such a nice person She started out explaining the basics (which was very helpful) before we practised jumping up on the board in the sand. I felt ready and well prepared by the time we went into the water. She helped me with getting a feeling for when to start paddeling. And yeyyy, after some time I got the hang of it. The feeling of standing up and surfing toward the beach was sooo good!!! Would highly recommend Sandy AND giving surfing a try!

On the third day I was even allowed to borrow the board and she even picked it up again at our accommodation. Ich habe an 2 Tagen Privatunterricht genommen und konnte wieder viel auffrischen und Neues dazu lernen. Sandy hat mit viel Geduld und Spontanitt auf meine Bedrfnisse reagiert und alles getan, damit wir erfolgreiche Stunden hatten. Am dritten Tag durfte ich mir sogar noch das Board ausleihen und Sie hat es sogar wieder abgeholt an unserer Unterkunft.
