        The car park is near the cenotaph and overlooking the ocean,people in vehicles including campervans are allowed to park on the site,which is the reason for the notices regarding tsunami ,also fines for throwing rubbish since approprate rubbish bins are provided on site.The ocean view is beautiful and there's a walking path down to the beach.

        A gathering place for over staying vehicle/car sleepers, drug use, sadly only worsening. Loud cars, music. Legal self contained vehicles can park there two nights per calendar month.
