I paid for a 2 bedroom apartment, what I got was one bedroom, the other was closed off. It was quite late when we found out we couldnt access the 2nd bedroom so I had to put up with my husbands snoring. We were on holidays and my husband had a few drinks and with that comes snorting. The Second room was for one of us to sleep in, but no, couldnt get access. I was quite upset that I paid for a 2 bedroom and couldnt access one because it was locked. It may make cleaning easy, but I am going to ask for a partial refund because I didnt get what I paid for. We had a big living space with huge kitchen and the apartment overlooked the water, but it was one street back. Pub on the corner was roudy, but that was put down to it being holiday season. Friend of ours paid $50 less per night and had an 3 bedroom apartment right on the waterfront. This apartment would be great for families and for those that like to cook or entertain while on holidays. Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, jug etc. We also had a sewer stench coming from the bathroom, but we just closed the door and all was ok. Onsite free parking is available. Our huge gripe was having no internet, when we could see a router box in the room. Would I stay here again? Yes, if I could get access to the 2nd bedroom and free wi fi. There are a few restaurants in walking distance and if you love eating Indian food, you are right across the road from a restaurant. French cafe around the corner offers the best coffee in town. If you like a drink the pub is right on the corner. Quite a few shops around but being the Xmas New Year period, many were closed. I highly recommend the Japanese restaurant as the food was tasty and was made for you while you wait. About $13.50 for a real filling meal.
