The one star is for the kind, professional, exceptional receptionist Rita. Otherwise itd be a -5/5 stars for the lawyers. Dont waste your time. First time ever being served, first time ever needing to step foot in a courthouse, first time ever needing legal representation so this was a sensitive, difficult, traumatic experience for me. It was an unpleasant first experience with Angela and her associate Nicole. Had our first call, I didnt even understand what I had been served with let alone try unpack 3 years of my life to discuss my defences in a 50 minute phone call. I called a couple of times and she was always out on lunch. They did not represent me at the hearing due to legal aid still pending however, I offered to pay on a private fee basis until Legal Aid was approved but this was overseen. I did not get a response until after the hearing, I represented myself and I wouldnt recommend. I had a short timeframe to work within and wasted precious time with this firm. Huge thanks to Rita Fairbrother the kind, professional, helpful, lovely receptionist 10/5 for your client/customer service.
