Charged for full month. Did say we could have longer. So Ali was working in with us which we did appreciate very much as we were moving house and had special circumstances to work around. Ali is a new owner but gave us no verbal warning of the use of two rat bait blocks placed naked on the floor of our unit (and other units). There were no signs on our storage area to warn of the use of poisons, or similar eg No Pets. Our dog ate some of the rat bait block resulting in an emergency visit to the vet, and a consequential vet bill of over $200. Ali offered no recompense for this, except a verbal "sorry about that"very disappointing. No responsibility taken for consequential loss. After returning the key we rang other storage facilities about the use of rat bait left directly on the floor of storage facilities. Other companies were appalled that this practice was used without due diligence (ie appropriate signage, or actually putting the poison inside a protective rodent box). We looked at other response options....lawfully Ali is under no obligation to offer rat bail poison signage. Our concern is what if we missed seeing our dog eat the bait?
