DIVEWORKS CHARTERS - Dolphin and Seal Encounters, Whale Island Guided Tours, Fishing and Diving

Whale island adventure was AMAZING, kids had so much fun and learnt heaps!!! They got to hold a gecko and see lots of beautiful native birds like the saddle back! What made the trip MAGICAL and very special was the beautiful FAMILY that were our tour guide and also owns the tour boat!! There knowledge of history and there own experience like taking thousands of native trees out on there boat and help planting on the island, was special to hear! They were so awesome with the kids letting them ride up the bow when driving out and back from whale! They only take 12 people or less so you get way better experience!!! I will be back to swim with the dolphins next summer! Thanks so much Steph and the team!

I dropped my iphone inside a waterfalls at Whakatane. As soon as i contacted them, they arrived in 10 minutes and retrieved my phone from about 5-6m under the ground. They didn't even want to charge me, and said its on Whakatane. A very helpful family. Would definitely want to meet them again in the future to checkout the Dolphin and Seal Encounters. Great fishing trip yesterday. Staff are typical good kiwis who enjoy good banter. We had a great afternoon fishing and everyone went home with several days fish to eat. A good mix of terakihi, snapper, kingfish and maomao caught by all on biard Highly recommend. We did the half day fishing trip.
