        Te Pakau is a gorgeous campground and is very underrated! Although I hope it stays that way for self purposes. The campsites are very nice with fire pits and built in grills. There was a picnic table at ours. The river is beautiful and you can get a spot right next to it! There were even horses grazing near us. There is heaps of horse poop around but I grew up with horses so I didnt mind. There is a bathroom with flush toilets as well.

        Fantastic spot a fair way up a rough gravel road Plenty of room but only one toilet block that unfortunately has been known to get vandalised on occasions Great swimming spots and about 6-8 fire pits and BBQ tables
