        A wonderful place to stay. Alison and Mark were warm and friendly and had made so many nice touches that made me feel very welcome. The house is wonderfully situated for taking long walks along the lakeshore. In a quiet neighbourhood but close in driving distance to town and shops. Very much a little oasis and a place I'd definitely stay at again.

        Kapowai Cottage was really well set up with everything you would need for a few days stay. Alison and Marc were particularly helpful and friendly and made several good suggestions about things to see and do. The cottage is within easy driving distance of all the attractions in the Rotorua area. We had a very pleasant 4 nights there and would highly recommend it. Ian and Helen

        Really lovely cottage that had everything we needed for our stay. Quiet, comfortable, clean. Lovely to see fresh flowers in a vase on our arrival and some delicious chocolates on the table. Great little home away from home. Lovely view and fantastic hosts that couldn't have been more helpful. Thoroughly recommend staying here and while you're at it - check out the Little Green Tours - custom designed tours with enthusiastic guides that have lots of local knowledge to share.
