If your ichild is n a relationship can navigate f.b or drink alcohol on the weekends that's normal behavior There's students there that don't actually need to be there and the ones that should be getting the help aren't. Some parents want them there bc it's a safe environment no criteria needed as long as yr child has a diagnosis It's the only specialist school in Rotorua so there's no other options. They have teachers there who came from mainstream schools no experience with special needs looking for an easy teaching gig bc we all know teachers deal with way more issues with so called normal students I was told they learn as they go. Is that acceptable? Outside of the specialist school majority of the staff don't have anything to do with special needs ppl. Specialist school I beg to differ.
