        Stay in a family-owned farm. The house stands on top of a hill that gives fantastic scenery of neighboring farms and far mountains. Within the farm superb beef is grown, as well as orchard of a wide range of fruits and herb garden that contribute to barbecues on the front porch. Trout can be fished in the stream behind. A neighbouring farm provides good lamb too. Convenient to drive to such attractive places as Rotorua city center, Lake Rotorua, Hellls Gate Geopthermal Park, or Okere Falls.

        Not sure why so many glowing reviews but as one was written by the host I suspect all the others are false as well. Hosts are unusual. Odd ideas about COVID and vaccination etc. Says French but host speaks only English. Very ordinary decor. Long way from restaurants etc. Would not recommend.

        Great place to stay especially if you love horses, accomodation continental breakfast. Meals by arrangement well worth it.
