Managed to get a 60 minute massage for two at short notice on the same day. Staff very kind and accommodating, gave luxurious massages and up sold me a acne gel that is so far proving to be once of the best things I've ever used ( and I've used almost every one you can name) can't wait to visit again when in the area. Gave us some good pointers of where to eat after our massages as we were visiting the area! Awesome bunch of gals

So I was thinking for a long time - should I write a review. But I do, for others you know. I am travelling around NZ and a week ago Ineeded to have my maintanence waxing( have been regularly doing it for 2+ years), and so I read the reviews and made an appimointment at another salon. They unfortunately cancelled in that day, so I just really wanted to have my waxing done and called random salons in Tauranga. This one had a free time on that day and I just took it. I have to say, that the ladies working there are super nice! But lets talk about the waxing. So Im not gonna discuss the technique of the waxing specialist, everybody has them different. I went for 1/2 lower leg. So during the appointment I was feeling quite odd, that I have to point out that please wax my toes or please do wax here as well more than once. Lets just say, I didnt say anything that I got waxed only until the knee, not the knee, not a cm higher. Ok, who cares. Also I had applied for a brazilian wax. It means everything, right? She did that as well. Great. Then I go and pay, and I see a quite a big patch of wax left on my leg, asked the lady to please take that one off, she did, okay, everyone makes mistakes. I walked out quite happy.But you know what, I was just dissapointed when I got home and looked at my legs and bikini area. There are at least three really big and visible big spots of hair still on my legs, and about the bikini- lets just say that they should look up what a brazilian wax means. So much hair left on me and such a sloppy job, to be honest. So I am writing this review only for that reason, that I, as a traveller, had problems choosing a salon, because everybody is writing reviews about massages, hair, nails, everything except waxing. I received the most amazing full body massage this past week. Dominique was very professional, she's great at what she does. The atmosphere is lovely, room kept very warm and nicely lit, all of these things made for a relaxing experience. Hopefully I can come back again soon!
