I was trying to get my partner to New Zealand since January 2020. After experiencing extreme difficulties with my previous lawyer in Wellington (unprofessionalism, rude behaviour, no line of communicaition), I found Stay Legal on google when I moved to Tauranga. I know through the last 7 months that all the 5 star ratings I saw back then, are absolutely justified. First thing I remember, was texting them on messenger at 1:30am, explaining my situation and that I wanted legal help. Lauren was introduce to me by one of my close friend in the year mid 2019 for immigration related work. When looking for an attorney, one looks for intelligence, a passion for their profession, their ability to explain complex ideas very simply, and their ability to handle difficult situations on your behalf for their clients. My case was complex, plus I was missing few bits and pieces from here and there. Lauren guided me through to fill those missing pieces and in Dec 2019 we finally applied for my Residency(Skilled migrant category resident visa) . So the time is now to wait for the case officer to get assigned and check. This is where it all started. Mid March 2020 due to family issues I had to fly overseas, it was supposed to be just 2 and half weeks but it turned out 2 years and 6 months (borders were closed and change in immigration laws). This was the toughest time of my life. As I was overseas I was not eligible for any of the new rules which came in, in the year 2020 and 2021. At this period of time I was receiving Updates from Lauren regarding border rules, immigration changes and the new visa category AWV. Lauren has tremendously helped me and guided me over the years because of her guidance and her exceptional knowledge and skill I am back in Nz today, not just that but My Residency also got approved.
