Thoroughly recommend visiting the house and looking at a home from the 1880s with a guided tour. Well worth a visit.

Absolutely loved it, as soon as you walk in you are transported immediately back in time. Tauranga is so fortunate the house and contents are still in tact and the volunteers are there to show you around and do a marvellous job keeping things ship shape. Its delightful!
