This is a hidden gem in tauranga. It's the best sushi in the bay of plenty in my opinion. The food is always fresh and well presented. And it all tastes delicious at a very good price!

Drive past this place twice a day and always think I must stop in. Today I did and I have to say this is top 5 sushi of my life. Lots of choice and different flavors ive not had before. Can't wait to try the hot dishes! Convenient parking at the rear also.

This is the best local sushi shop if you want stock standard options or the fancier ones. So fresh and good to see that recyclable card containers are now available for take out.

I fell in love with donburi almost a year ago and since then I have gone out of my way to try the teriyaki chicken from as many places as I can since. Ive tried it from almost every single sushi shop in the bay of plenty and Sams Donburi is by far the best I have ever tried. Perfect chicken, delicious salad and perfect rice to go with it as well as the perfect ratio of all 3. I dont know how it could get much better!
