VR Rotorua Lake Resort

My uncle was the manager here years ago when it was the Duxton Hotel, I remember the place being immaculate and the customer service used to be top notch, but unfortunately it's not as well kept as it used to be with the new owners. I love that one of the signs mentioned that a majority of the staff were of Ngti Pikiao decent, but I didn't see a single one of my whanau in there! To be honest, the rooms were nice, they just need a bit of maintenance and a deep clean. The prices were reasonable so can't complain. Just wish they would maintain the resort a bit better.

Rooms: Decent size of rooms. At ground floor rooms you will Cleary hear wooden cracking of upper floor. Not good at all. Shower is bit small congested for shower. Nearby activities: If you doing a Rotorua water rafting and zipline VR is too close to that activities. Good one night stay.
