Excellent. We've been rafting quite a few times now, in Austria but mainly in the French Alps where trips have varied from 90 minutes to about 3 hours, but they've never had the same level or frequency of rapids as we experienced with Raftabout. Communication and booking were easy & simple. Always replying to emails. Really friendly. We arrived a little early for our 'experience' and were joined by 3 Americans and a guy from Switzerland. The 15 to 20-minute ride out to the river was filled with a fairly comprehensive and light-hearted safety brief from Nick, our guide from DC. We were joined by Dave, the safety guy from Canada I think plus a local photographer; sp we had 3 staff to 6 guests, a pretty good ratio . We arrived at the river, just below the lake, after another short brief we were in the raft and 1 or 2 photos later we were on our way. 45 minutes to an hour later we were at the end, after about 6 to 7 rapids, a great soaking and great time later. The 'big' one was grrrrrrrreat. 3 of us came out of the raft, maybe by force of nature or choice. The water was surprisingly warm and fresh. We also got to swim over one of the rapids. The photographer (sorry I forgot his name) captured some gr8 photos and memories for us. My wife got a two-digit injury, but it was worth it - I would say that wouldn't I, without any injuries and two straight fingers . We had to carry the raft back up to the van and trailer at a nearby car park, that was fine and not too hard. A gr8 trip, lots of fun and totally enjoyable. A good 50 each well spent. Thoroughly recommend it plus Raftabout who were really friendly and great hosts. Thanks guys . If you stay in the raft you'll enjoy it, if you end up out of the raft you'll enjoy it even more. But shh, don't tell them that. Have fun & live the dream .
