Tasman Holiday Parks - Waihi Beach

Nice little holiday park. Kids had a blast in the pool with the slide, eel feeding was a hit & hubby & I really enjoyed dinner down by the pool on woodfire pizza night, it was a really nice vibe. Facilities are clean & modern & not too busy as a lot of people stay in cabins. Fantastic location by the beach. Things to note: If you're camping - the sites are rather small and difficult to maneuver caravans around. They are also quite muddy, not a lot of grass, so if it's not the height summer, be sure to bring mats. Keep things away - because of the eel feeding by the stream there are a few rats, we were aware of this, but despite keeping everything clean & away - still ended up with a mouse in the caravan (that's the outdoors for you I guess!). There were quite a few things that were "out of order". Games in the games room, and kitchen. If you plan to do laundry, take cash as they won't let you get money (from eftpos) for washers at the office - you can change it though. Overall- kids had a blast, & we would stay again. Would love to come back during summer.
