        L'Abri is an absolute gem. The rooms and shared spaces are absolutely gorgeous and extremely comfortable. I stayed at L'Abri over a weekend of torrential rain, and was happy to sit by the woodfire, taking in the superb views. Jane is a consummate host and went above and beyond to make my stay so enjoyable. ( I appreciated the extra treats she left in the room to augment my afternoon cup of tea:) The breakfasts are fresh and fabulous. I can hardly wait to return!

        Beautiful views, all you need facilty-wise and close enough to the bay to go for a nice walk or bike ride. Close enough to Akaroa and other places of interest. The most amazing breakfast, made from produce grown on the premise. Everything, from the room to the food, is prepared with a personal touch and thoughtfulness. We highly recommend L'Abri. Will definitely be back first chance we get! Thank you for making our stay so special.
