Fox II Sailing

Fantastic relaxed trip on a 101 year old sailing ketch. Our skipper was entertaining and knowledgeable and the crew looked after us well. The highlight was more than 9 Hectors Dolphins swimming around the boat.

The trip is worth every cent paid We were treated to sailing, in the open sea winds - seals - dolphins - birds - facts on geology - & geography as well as a history respectful to all sides Moari - English & French The crew were amazing they cared that we enjoyed our trip & were very professional in their crewing Highly recommend it to families An absolute highlite

Such a fun trip today with Roy and his crew (Daisy) it was a tough weather and they were fantastic with the music and warm drinks. And we still managed to see seals, plenty hector dolphins and blue penguins, and learnt so much history. Great for older people too as my parents enjoyed the experience on a 100 yo sailing ship. Definitely a must do!

Went out on this lovely little boat today. What an awesome experience. Roy and his crew were fantastic to deal with. Roy's commentary about the area of Akaroa was very informative, telling us the history of the agriculture, the French, the British, the Maori. He also told us about the geology of the place. We saw the little Hector dolphins, penguins and seal, plus numerous seabirds. The music on board was fantastic also I would highly recommend doing this cruise, as it was worth every cent. A great way to spend 3 hours.
