Bruce Waterfront Apartments

I was going to say disgusting, maybe that's a little strong. We decided to stay another night in Akaroa, our previous accommodation was full. We paid way more to stay here. Mould in the shower. Chairs stained (don't want to even think with what. Bare carpet in places. Tired, run down, needing attention. Window latch missing (well, in the drawer of the coffee table!) meaning room wasn't secure. Don't stay here, especially at this price unless you inspect it first. Next time, I'd leave Akaroa rather stay in such an abysmal setting.

Got a unit here last minute new years eve. Unit was contemporary and close to local establishments However, our first morning we woke up to a huge ant infestation, we had left nothing out The rubbish bin interior lid was filthy! Stuck on rubbish, the shower had grime along the bottom and the bed was saggy. Another issue was the noise from the pipes any time another unit turned on a shower, etc All that aside we enjoyed our stay

Wish I could rate more than 5 Came with family to Akaroa for a weekend getaway. Tom was a blessing in disguise. He was a perfect host. Made us very comfortable, upgraded to one of their premium apartment, reduced price and gave us a late checkout - GOLD Apartment is immaculate, clean and well maintained. Have all utilities as per need. Highly recommend. Tom, we are definitely coming back to The Bruce. THANK YOU MY MAN!
