(Translated by Google) Beautiful place, nice residents, wonderful that they cooked for us the 1st evening. (Original) Prachtige plek, aardige bewoners, heerlijk dat ze de 1e avond voor ons gekookt hebben.

We (2 adults and 2 children) really enjoyed our stay at Diamond Harbour Lodge. The rooms are spacious and offer a great view over the bay. The breakfast in the room was very convenient. We set off on the 40 minute cliff track straight after arrival. Doable with children from about 6 years. It goes up and down but the view is great. At the end, we enjoyed a cool drink at the Diamond Harbour Eatery & Bar. Unfortunately, with the exception of a fish and chips shop, this eatery & bar is the only place to get dinner. The place is good, but if you want more variety you have to drive to Lyttelton. You can't really cook in the kitchen of the room. For the next day we did a hike in Orton Bradly Park. Great!
