Our overwhelming grief at the sudden loss of our beloved family member was greatly assuaged by the love and compassion shown to us by Barry and Linda at Paterson's Funeral Services, Ashburton. Our much loved son, brother, father, grandad, cousin, nephew and mate had worked in many countries overseas and many locations within NZ during his 40 year career with the NZDF. The on-going alterations and additions to the service, the live streaming, the management of over 400 people including large numbers of professional soldiers, the co-ordination with so many groups wanting to honour his memory was accomplished with complete calm efficiecy. We cannot speak more highly of this great team and thank them publically for their consumate professionalism. Jo Hutt

On behalf of my family, we recommend Paterson's Funeral Services to anyone who is going through the unfortunate time of losing a loved one. Barry is a born natural at dealing with these tough circumstances - his kind, caring, professional nature made our experience feel somewhat at ease and nothing was ever a problem to change/rearrange plans. Planning a funeral can be very daunting but Barry, Linda and the team at Paterson's made our experience one that we will hold dear to our hearts always. A beautiful funeral home that provides exceptional service - lovely, kind caring staff and delicious food at Reception made it a bonus. Thank you Patersons Funeral Services for the care and support you gave us during the hardest time in our lives, we really do appreciate everything you did for our family.
