Tried to return my sons faulty gumboots hed had for 6 weeks with 2 separate slits in the seams and therefore useless. Was told as theyd been worn they couldnt do anything even though faulty, store assistant was worried she would get in trouble from her manager. Online customer service told me to return to the store as they should be replaced but after my experience in store its not worth it.

So I seen some good sales online and decided to stop by to pick up some items. 12:30 Monday afternoon June 13th 2022 at the Palms. The saleswoman didnt greet me first and foremost. I didnt care that much about not getting greeted, just thought it was a bit rude. I was very puzzled and confused because I couldnt find the items I seen online. She gave me filthy looks and still refused to say anything to me. Not can I help you with anything? Nothing! As a paying customer, I didnt even bother because the energy was turn offish and it didnt gravitate. I just politely walked out and went to spend my money at another Cotton On, where the service was great and the staff was really nice. It left a distasteful impression on me and Ill NEVER return to the Palms Cotton On! Not even if they give me a free voucher. Thats how bad it was. She probably had a bad night or morning but as we all know never take it out on your happy customers who spends so much money within your company. As an entrepreneur, Id be disgusted if I found out my staff was treating my lovely customers such way. Its totally unacceptable in the retail service industry, any industry really. It just makes it that much worse when its face to face contact. Maybe shes angry daily, I wouldnt know but I thought Id share with the world. I only gave one star because its the absolute bare minimum.
