Went there for my bday lunch, staff were friendly when we had their attention but after taking our initial food order they basically ignored us unless we went up to the bar to ask for something. They never checked if our meals were OK (2/5 weren't) or came to offer any drinks, we had to ask if they were actually doing table service to get our plates cleared and they still didn't ask about the meals despite 2 of them being barely touched. They had a $5 dessert special yet we had to get our own menus as they didn't come and offer. Lemon tart was really good, brownies were a bit average. Won't be returning for any sort of special occasion as staff barely did the minimum to look after us and couldn't have cared less

Lovely bar and restaurant, has a great atmosphere to it, and it's definitely worth getting the hot stone as a treat ! Would just like to mention a lady at the fox and ferret her name is George and definitely deserves a mention for her exceptional customer service! So we arrived and booked the wrong restaurant for first table as we booked the riccaton one and not our favorite place ever ever so George took it on her self to save the day and give us an amazing deal that was such a lovely act of kindness so thank you again George and keep doing what ur doing at the amazing fox and ferret the parms not riccaton.
