Not the most exciting walk to be honest. Not 4.5 stars as they claim.

Long way up the hill. Narrow road. One lane at the end of the road. Marvellous scenery and great overview of the peninsula. The sign clearly says - no dogs allowed.

Neat wee walk uphill to the summit. It took about an hour with our 6 year old. The drive up is pretty long and narrow ish so just be mindful of traffic. Views are great up the top. Track is exposed so can get windy/hot so bring appropriate clothing. There is a small carpark to the right of the track where you can park and the track starts at the DOC sign

Great length walk for the kids. Stunning views over akaroa and surrounding hills. Can get windy up there but on a still day it's simply beautiful!
