I had an idea for a project to replace a tired old house in Papanui with some townhouses to rent. I scribbles some ideas on paper and Choice design transformed it into 3 fantastic homes with clever ideas and great solutions to tricky problems. They put in extra time and were always available to discuss anything. I am supremely pleased with the result which has exceeded my expectations and which I put down directly to Choice Designs work ethic and their great ideas. i would definitely recommend them and will return to them for my next project. My partner and I engaged Choice Design following our decision to build a home for the first time. We planned a small, energy-efficient home and it was important to us that we could work with a company familiar with the design principles we proposed. Although we had some definite ideas relating to the build the team at Choice Design helped us transform the basic house plans we'd prepared into the home we're now building. Their suggestions and recommendations ultimately improved the aesthetics of the building. They also guided us through the sometimes seemingly complex systems associated with consents and other aspects of the building process. Budgetary constraints were kept in mind and we were actively involved in any decision making. Communication problems were never an issue : replies to emails or phone calls were promptly returned. The team at Choice Design were always helpful, courteous, friendly and professional. They were a pleasure to work with and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the company to anyone planning to build or requiring architectural design advice. We are very excited about seeing the result of their expertise and wish the company all the best for the future.
