I apoligise for saying this, but I have recently downgraded my review from 5 stars to 2. The reasons why can be found below. It's good for people that wanna make friends. But teachers have made me aware of this, and also I have started to notice, the school is poorly designed in particular parts, some infrastructure is starting to deteriorate as well, luckily to an extent where it's not too noticeable. A few signs led me to this conclusion. First of all, the school's heating system goes on a boiler, which means if it's out of action, no heat will be given to the classrooms which are joined to it, which would mean no heat in the winter (And just a quick edit to that, I have found out since writing this that some classrooms don't even have heaters!) Should also change to a more efficient heating system. Secondly, the rain we have been having lately has exposed problems with some storm water pipes around the school, predominately the drain by the cafeteria, library and c block toilets. Whenever we get heavy rain, its always a big lake there. Because it's so close to the toilets, I don't want to imagine how much this could expose. Lastly, major building design faults. B, C & D blocks have been around for a long time, so long that they are starting to show their age. They are 3 of the school's 2 story blocks, the 4th and last one is the Admin block, which is newer and their aren't many problems yet with it. One of the 3 classroom blocks is the main Technology building, which is an amazing computer suite. As for all the other blocks, they have nice, tall ceilings, large windows which let a good amount of light through, and they are nice and big. But what are the problems with all 3 buildings? 1. Wheelchair access. Its a big one these days. All blocks should be able to be wheelchair accessible. The ground floors aren't a problem, but the upper floors are. Of all the 2nd story's of the buildings, there is only one elevator to cater for their needs. But what if it dies, or gets taken down, or more importantly, there's a fire? There are no other options whatsoever, apart from the main stairwells, which they will struggle to get up and down. 2. Heating. Won't say anything here, as it ties in with the paragraph I did on the school's heating system a bit above. Sorry i said all this negative stuff, but I had to for everyone's safety. Please sort this stuff out when you have the money. I'm not saying this because I don't like the school, I'm just concerned about deteriorating infrastructure which I am starting to notice.

It's a good school for sure! But like every school could have a better system, hence the four stars not five. Been there almost two years now and it's going good, not much to complain about except a few teachers which is to be expected at almost any and every school . Would recommend definitely compared to the school I originally came from... Don't even get me started on that school!!
