        Trusting the chef was a disappointing mistake. After eating there we decided on getting Mac Donalds instead.

        We had the 7 course vegetarian degustation with matching wine. This was an amazing experience. In Sydney or Melbourne this would be double the price. The food was interesting, delicious and beautifully delivered. The wine worked! We loved the dining room. We admired the calmness of the environment. The kitchen ( Chef) was calm and polite. His staff were calm and polite. That tells you a lot. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food while visiting Christchurch. It is in a suburb outside the city BUT its worth the Uber ride!!
