I wish I can rate them zero. Bad management specially the disrespectful manager in Christchurch area. My mother used to work with them for years, only to be treated horribly. Was painful watching my mum getting through emotional distress. She struggled to find another job due to their bad referencing and lies. Multiple clients not receiving care they deserved. Treating their support workers poorly. Worst company to work for.

Worst company to work for. Full of unreliable, unsupportive, bully and useless service managers. Always under staff and you have to beg for leave! I told everyone who looks for health job not to apply on this horrible company.

Absolutely useless!! If I could give no stars, I would! Have just come home from surgery and in the 1st and 2nd week no support worker turned up on 2 set days and when I phoned to find out what happened the call centre, said "it's up to the contractor to turn up!" It's basically not our responsibility. Oh and they sent a care-worker who didn't want to clean and was terrible on one day.

My father is a ventilated tetraplegic who has been 24/7 dependent on the nurses and caregivers provided by healthcareNZ for the last 8 years, some of the staff have been caring for dad since the beginning of his post accident/hospital life, and have become firm friends of our family This morning our family were advised that HelathcareNZ would be withdrawing their support for my dads care effective at the end of the SAME DAY! No humanity! No care! no compassion! No desire to participate in an appropriate handover process to ensure my dads care continues to meet his needs. Absolutely disgusting corporate , who obviously cares little for the people who they are meant to provide for.
