Upshot Coffee

What a lovely quaint place! There is a strong sense of community here and it is quite possible to make friends here if you come enough. It has a village feel. I thought of this Bible passage which I thought was quite fitting for this cafe: Isaiah 32:1-4 KJV Behold, a king shall reign in righteousness, and princes shall rule [with justice]. [2] And a man shall be as an hiding place from the wind, and a covert from the tempest; as rivers of water in a dry place, as the shadow of a great rock in a weary land. [3] And the eyes of them that see shall not be dim, and the ears of them that hear shall hearken. [4] The heart also of the rash shall understand knowledge, and the tongue of the stammerers shall be ready to speak plainly.

So heard so much about this place and the good ratings. Id like to know what the fuss is all about. I get it its in a nice spot however, if I go for a coffee and a seat inside then Id like it in a mug or a cup not a take away cup. The coffee was good as a barista I like a good cuppa. Home made food you cant beat , but do I want a wet and dirty bun after sitting down . No There is junk everywhere now I know whats quaint and country but it needs a bit of a tidy and a makeover . Probably just locals revisiting. New customers not impressed you can get good coffee and service and food most places. I am a local who has never been would I go back , probably not. Kid-friendliness: Cant imagine why kids cant run about and enjoy the view of the horses however busy road outside so would have to keep an eye on young ones running out

What a funky place! Great coffee and I had a stellar home made veg muffin. Owner was so nice and friendly, check it out!.
