Terrible. Ordered gas 11 days ago and they promised delivery today- on the dispatch date. The dispatch date has now been changed- without informing us- no more gas for at least 3 days. I am closing my account.

We requested a quote only. Which we received an email from Elgas with their pricing. But in the end of the email, it stated if we do not wish to proceed with signing up with Elgas, we need to inform them to discontinue the lead. Which is not what we want, as we do not wish to sign up with Elgas. Luckily we read the email carefully and fully, otherwise we would have been signed up automatically. To resolve this matter, we had to rang Elgas several times, and could not reach the right person. We were even hanged up by one of the customer service by saying you will get a call back and have a nice day. Our final call with Elgas was also not very friendly, they insisted they do not automatically sign people up like this. Which is not what the email stated. And I had to read the email to the customer service, and then I was told they had a system update and this could just be a glitch. The experience was upset and frustrating. And still not sure if the matter was resolved.

Save your time. Elgas pricing ~$200/bottle. Mata, Frank ~$100/bottle. Contact ~$130/bottle. They are also in the dark ages with their systems. The company doesn't appear to keep very good records because they told be twice a month apart that my bottles had only just been returned by my new supplier, and then they tried to tell me that they were empty. Only when I questioned that they looked and find one bottle record that said it was full but the other was still empty(which was very unlikely as is only just got a new bottle) but they would offer a half refund for it in good faith. At least that half will pay for a whole new bottle with my new supplier. Will see if we get it given other reviews.

I have been without gas for almost a week now. Despite talking with 2 x customer representatives and being told a manager will contact me.Nothing. My Boarding house has 11 people in it and despite my account being up to date they dont seem to care. I asked on numerous occasions to be contacted by phone if they decided to stop deliveries if my bill was late being paid. This was too much trouble for them despite being a customer for 5 years and never having not paid a bill. My recommendation is to go elsewhere if you can.
