Thank you to Beren for making my first hair appt in many years such a great experience. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I have fine, thinning, curly hair and have spent years trying to hide some thin patches. I've felt embarrassed about my hair for quite a while, but I decided to see if it could be dealt with in any way. Beren was wonderful, she was completely professional and we were able to talk about the problems I've had with my hair. She also created a wonderful cut that I was thrilled with and I've received many compliments on. She restored my confidence in myself and made me feel happy with my hair again. I've already booked in my next appt, as I'm so pleased with the outcome I'll be returning regularly!! Thanks also to Pip, for her friendly approach and assistance. I recommend Surreal to everyone I know, it is the most gorgeous, professional and friendly salon in Christchurch. I am particular about my hairstyle and I trust Cherise with anything she suggests. My goodness, where do I start with this team! From the loving and warm greeting I got from Pip at the front desk to the amazing hair transformation done by Briar I was gobsmacked by the incredible and professional level of service. These beautiful people were able to fit me in on a same day appointment, taking my hair from a dark brunette to a stunning ashy blonde. Briar took so much care with every single detail of this transformation. From spending an hour just foiling my hair to the treatments to get the beautiful colour, I couldnt have been in better hands. She also talked me through every step explaining the process and why. The best part of my experience here was when the team where honest with me, instead of just taking my money and doing what I initially wanted, Pip talked me through a process that would keep my hair healthy while still getting an amazing outcome from my first appointment.
