I can't express enough, my appreciation of BuildQuals assessment of my co-joined flats. Rob organised the inspection promptly and Sam carried it out efficiently and thoroughly with minimal disruption to me and my tenant. I now have a professionally presented and thorough inspection report for the benefit of my Insurance Company to ensure I can obtain unencumbered cover for my properties. Most importantly I have had my peace of mind restored thanks to the BuildQual team.

From my experience with BuildQual, I would definitely not recommend their service! They missed major issues from my property inspection. There was structural cracking to a high boundary block wall. This was earthquake damage and had not been repaired. This damaged was clearly stated in the EQC report emailed to Rob prior to my inspection. BuildQual inspection report noted that all EQC damage had been repaired and the wall was tired. I questioned Rob on the comment tired and he stated a coat of paint will smarten that up. There was no mention in the inspection report of the block wall having stepping / damage. We also found when moving into the property the garage door railing was broken and was being held up by a piece of rope. We notice something under the carpet in one of the bedrooms. At first I thought it was a crack in the foundation, but when uplifting the carpet, it was about a metre long gap where some old cork tiles did not butt up to the underlay. I addressed these missed issues with Rob and found him to be arrogant in his response, taking no responsibly. I paid for a building inspection to pick up these kind of issues before purchasing this property..

Cannot recommend BuildQual NZ enough, Rob was a pleasure to deal with and answered all of my questions, nothing was a hassle. They completed a very thorough report within a couple of days of me contacting them.
