Barrer & Co

We engaged Barrer&Co in 2019 after identifying risk exposed area in our current funding models. They took time to get to know our organisation and our vision and delivered a comprehensive tailored response. Then COVID struck.... Throughout the operational struggles of 2020/21 Sarah and her team were always available to reinforce, tweak and advise when needed. And already the programs, without exception, are delivering above expectations.

I have recently completed a Bequest programme with Kathryn Marshall at Barrer & Co. Kathryn was not only highly professional and the most knowledgeable person in the country today regarding Bequests - she was also a lot of fun to work with. I was a bit dubious about the length of the planning for our Bequest programme (4 months) but I needed every one of those months to digest the enormous amount of information that Kathryn made available to me. I would highly recommend Barrer & Co to any charity that is considering launching a fundraising venture - it will prove to be money well spent.

We have loved working with Sarah and the team. Initially we were sceptical about working with a fundraiser as we thought that we could be put in a position of having to "sell" what we do. With Sarah and the team we quickly found that this was not the case, their values aligned strongly with ours, the whole process was really empowering. Not only did we raise a considerable amount of support in a short time but we gained an invaluable knowledge and confidence around how to support and partner with others around making a genuine difference in our communities. We have got so much out of the process and felt listened to and valued every step of the way. These guys are fantastic at their job.
