Dr Milburn said that he saw me and that I had an ECG with him and sent me a letter and report to this effect. He then refused to speak or contact me. His staff just fobbed me off all the time and didn't reply to emails etc. The only way I could get an answer was to call them. It has been very stressful to have a report and an ECG written about you that is not correct. Made even worse by the Doctor refusing to have a zoom meeting with me after many requests. I am in the process of making a complaint to the Health and Disability Commissioner. It is over 5 weeks since they were alerted to this mistake.

From my very first appointment with Dr Krys Milburn at South Island Heart in Christchurch I knew I was in the very best of hands. My GP referred me to Krys and spoke very highly of him and assured me that he would get to the bottom of my problems. Krys is a great communicator and has a wonderful manner that is both highly professional but at the same time warm and welcoming and I was immediately at one with him. I had various tests with members of his team before meeting Krys and they too were so caring and patient and very warm in their approach, it obviously comes from the top. I think the time Krys took to explain both my situation and the mechanics of how the heart functions I was already feeling better equipped to face what was ahead. Assurance and confidence in those that you place your wellbeing in is a great place to be in when you have potentially a life threatening condition to deal with. Krys and his team, together with other equally professional and caring specialists, have performed the most wonderful outcomes for me and the future now looks so much brighter but still the high level of care and concern for my wellbeing continues. From the bottom of my heart, one which now operates and functions so much better than it did, I give my sincere thanks to Kris, his team and his wonder colleagues and associates that have given me back my life; Thank you all.

Best cardiologist ! Professional and very approachable. Great communication and felt like the best care was taken. Very happy to recommend. James was also fantastic to deal with. Cannot recommend Krys enough.

Krys is absolutely the best specialist I have seen. He goes above and beyond and looks at the whole individual not just cardiac health. He is approachable, has a gentle professional approach, and is great on communication. I have recommended Krys to multiple family members and friends.
