The house is authentic in style and very well looked after. The food was amazing and the staff were exceptional. Loved our room and all the little touches. Cant fault this place. Only complaint would be the noise of the main road outside but its location was close to town enough to walk. So if the original 1800s owners would have had the foresight to not build on a major road I cant fault this place. Just lovely and will be back.

My husband and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and it was such a wonderful experience! Why? The little things. The luxurious towels, the well stocked minibar(complimentary), the pillow menu(!) and the decor. The staff were fabulous and went above and beyond to make our stay a special experience. Even packing breakfast for us and having it delivered to our room as we were leaving too early to enjoy the breakfast at the restaurant. Thank you so much guys, it was an unforgettable experience!

Was lovely. Traditional wood paneling interior with heavy old velvet drapes in downstairs. I don't think the interior has changed and has been looked after well. It definitely has that old warm fireplace feel (I can't remember if there was one though).
