SNZ couldn't even be bothered to invest 15 minutes in a zoom call to interview me. Sent a one-way video link on a Friday afternoon with a deadline of midnight on the Sunday by which to reply - with no regard for connectivity issues I am experiencing living in a 3G black hole in Christchurch. Frequent dropouts caused me to have to repeat the exercise from the start, my responses becoming rushed and more frustrated each time. Made me realise that I didn't want to work for an organisation that is disrespectful and can't be bothered to communicate with another human in a decent manner anyway. What an awful, dehumanising experience.
