I love the product range here, but the serivice is a bit hit and miss. I've enjoyed lovely customer service most times, but this morning, these two girls acted hostile when I had the audacity to bring my groceries to them to do their job...it must have interrupted a really important conversation..

Sorry, but after years of shopping here I will not be going again. Some very friendly staff, but they don't know how to give customer service, which involves a lot more than asking how your day is. About a year ago I spent some time putting together a detailed email praising some aspects of the store, and suggesting changes in other areas. I didn't even get an acknowledgement back. My main gripe is that the salad bar is always closed by about 7.30pm, apparently because a "deep clean" is necessary. That obviously must take 2.5 hours as they don't close until 10pm. Guess what? Lots of people work and can't go shopping until after 7.30. I've spoken to the customer service desk about it at least 3 times, but they never take my details and nothing ever changes. Last week I went to customer services again and insisted they take my phone number (after being told to send an email when I was already talking to them). The guy said that a manager would call me within a day and I said that if they didn't, I would not be shopping there again. Surprise, surprise I didn't get a call. So i won't be back. Sorry but if you want my money, I expect good service and convenient shopping. Update: After a week the store manager contacted me. I'm upgrading my original rating slightly, as he has indicated that changes will be made. I'll upgrade again if this happens.

Best beer and wine selection by far. Hits the mark mostly, car parking is easy here and once you get past the fruit/vege/ meat sections, it is usually pretty easy to get around. I reckon the fruit/vege/meat sections are too cramped- this area should be redesigned. There is a lot of dead space near the dairy products that could be used. The seafood section is pretty average compared to other New Worlds such as Halswell. The salmon is always cut way too small too. The service is usually good and we can get through the check outs really fast which is a major bonus.
