Red Poppy Thai Restaurant

My brother's shouted our family out tonight before he departs for U.S.A. They found this restaurant by chance. Certainly wasn't disappointed with any of our 11 meals ordered. The flavours were a mix of sour, sweet, crunchy and spicy. I would definitely recommend checking this place out. Is situated in Richmond. ChCh. Parking: We visited on a Tuesday night so a little quieter.

Thank you for the well prepared dinner, me and my group enjoyed our dinner last week. Love my dish though hope we will come back next time with my family

Our group of 13 had (in person) confirmed reservation for last night to arrive and face closed restaurant!? We had to take our dinner party elsewhere and as is not coming back to this establishment any time soon. Very disappointing

From the reviews this sounded like a great place to eat but ... they took our booking for 15 people, which was confirmed in person, and then closed that evening without letting us know (not even the decency of a phone call). This left 15 of us standing on the footpath wondering where to eat. Luckily, the Bombay Brasserie (just down the road) graciously accepted a group of 15 without a booking and served us delicious meals.
