Saigon Centre Vietnamese Restaurant

Went there with my family a hour before they close. Had beef and chicken soup. But they use the same broth for both different type of soupcouldnt understand this. The soup is a.bit over salty and sweet. Service is exceptional, overall is a decent Vietnamese restaurant in town compare to Miss Saigon and Bahn Mi.

I am visiting Christchurch from Melbourne and I loveee a good bowl of BBH, unfortunately for here it was OK. Maybe I am use to being spoilt back home where Vietnamese food is in an abundance, the takeaway bowl was packaged not so nice and the oils from the bbh broth leaked all over the bag. There were no added extra leafy salads as Im used to in Melbourne, and quite frankly everywhere in the world Ive had the dish. They also used the thin vermicelli noodles instead of the usual thicker ones as well which I prefers however that comes to personal preference. The broth was a highlight, being sweet and a little spicy. The restaurant seems to be catering to a specific taste here, if youre after authentic Vietnamese BBH at least I would look elsewhere.
