My wife received great care here once it was decided she would get surgery - though first I had to push to see the senior consultant to get more clear advice after we were given the option to just go home on medication by a registrar - it turned out she needed a surgery urgently that day so Im glad I didnt just settle for the first opinion and go, if we had her life would have been at risk. It was lucky I work in the medical field and had seen her ultrasound scan so suspected it was very serious - they might also try to send you home to clear up a bed even if youre still very unwell after surgery so just be your own advocate or advocate on behalf of whanau if you can see they need to stay in if theyre really sick still. I dont think theres much point doing reviews for hospitals because its not like you have a choice where to go in an emergency but hopefully someone can benefit from this advice.

This hospital is a bloody joke they all walk around doing nothing well there are so many people if your in public eye atleast try make yourself look busy sheesh
